Certifications

The PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) certifies compliance with environmental sustainability in the procurement of raw materials through the Chain of Custody system. Valfiemme Legnami participated in the PEFC pilot project in Trentino, aware of the crucial importance of forest management that guarantees biodiversity and natural forest renewal.

Because we were born and raised in the Fiemme Valley, the culture of wood is part of our DNA. For this reason, we were among the first enthusiastic supporters of the newly formed Il Legno di Fiemme Consortium, active in protecting the natural heritage of our valley.

The CQA (CATAS Quality Award) (www) certification certifies the high bonding strength of our laminated profiles and our use of vinyl resin-based adhesives free from harmful substances and solvents.

The durability requirements of the European standard EN 204-205 are periodically verified, with specific splitting tests and measurements done on samples taken randomly from the warehouse and periodic inspections at our factory by CATAS technicians. Because they are durability class D4, our laminated products are highly moisture resistant and especially well suited for outdoor use.
We have also created an internal laboratory to check bonding compliance on a daily basis.

CQA certification also guarantees the traceability of each individual laminated profile, ensuring the customer full transparency on the part of our company. Each production batch is marked to be able to trace the production date and the tests performed on it.

Valfiemme Legnami achieved ISO 9001: 2008 certification from KIWA (www) in December 2013. It defines a series of regulations and guidelines developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for implementing a quality management system within the company for business processes, to improve production effectiveness and efficiency, and for providing services, gaining and increasing customer satisfaction.
